Police are treating as arson a blaze which has completely destroyed a farm shop in Hilton.
The incident happened between 2.40am and 9am on Monday (November 10) at Alpha Farm on Fenstanton Road.

Police say the offenders have entered the farm and set fire to the farm shop containing 1,500 eggs and a large amount of poultry equipment.

The estimated cost of the damage is several hundreds of thousands of pounds.

DC Rebecca Mainwood, investigating, said: "This fire has completely destroyed an important part of a family's livelihood and it is vital we trace those responsible.

"I would like to hear from anyone who has any information about this fire."

>> Anyone with information should contact DC Mainwood at Huntingdon Police Station on 0845 456 456 4 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
