An E-FIT has been produced of a man who attempted to break into a house in Papworth.
The incident took place on Monday, October 20, between 11.30am and noon in Ridgeway.

A teenage girl was home alone when the doorbell rang. Two men were on the doorstep but the girl did not let them in.

About 30 minutes later they came back and one of the men tried to force his way into the house by running at the door.

DC Gary Loth said: "It seems these men were trying to break into this house after there was no reply. Thankfully they didn't get in but it was very frightening for the girl who alerted police.

"I would like to hear from anyone who recognises the person in the picture. Any information could prove helpful."

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Loth at Parkside Police Station on 0845 456 456 4 or Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111
