It's time to sign up for this year's disability sports festival, a free event held in St Ives.
It's the sporting event of the year - the Huntingdonshire Disability Sports Forum Indoor Sports Festival is planned for Sunday, October 5.

Anyone who wants to take part needs to book in advance for this popular and fun day.

The event is free and aims to give disabled people the opportunity to take part in a variety of different sports and exciting activities on the day.

It will be held at the St Ivo Indoor Leisure Centre, in St Ives, and runs from 11am to 4pm. There will be four different activities for participants to join in with followed by some fun races.

Sports and activities are run in conjunction with local clubs and organisations such as the Howzat Cricket Club, St Ives Rangers Disability Football Club and the Upside Down Wheelchair Sports Club.

Just some of the sports which are on offer include, cricket, football, curling, archery and a new activity for this year is movement to music.

Movement to music is an informal dance session which is a fantastic way to get active and let your hair down.

>> To attend the festival you will need to complete a booking form by Friday, September 19. Booking forms are available via www.huntingdonshire.gov.uk/disabilitysport (festival link) or from David Reeve, sports development officer, on 01480 387098 or email david.reeve@huntsdc.gov.uk
