House-to-house enquiries have been carried out by police after a woman was mugged in Eaton Socon.
The 56-year-old had her handbag snatched from her at around 2.50pm on Sunday (October 26) as she walked along a footpath off Peer Road.
It is believed she was pushed to the ground during a struggle before letting go of the bag.
Cards and a small amount of cash were inside the bag which was later found discarded in a litter bin later in by a street cleaner.
The bag has been sent for forensic examination.
Officers have been carrying out enquiries in the Peer Road area and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
